Wouuwww I am excited to learn more about this, hope we can participate as well! Ataturk's thoughts and teachings can be carried on for centuries, we still have a lot to learn from him. I am glad that you get to know more about him and what a great visioner/leader he was beyond his time.

But i remember when me and my friend Büşra(she's stayin Ankara now) wacth Fenerbahçe's games and go crazy together!!Now we graduated last summer, and we fell apart.. But it would be GREAT if you could take her as a vip guest with you..

I am one of the regulars of the UIker Sports Arena and had a chance to give you fiive once on the court side after a match as well :-) What I like about people like you is you showing the rest of the world from the different perspective of the environment in our country. I want to suggest you another book series which also should understand how different was Atatürk. You should read the book series of Turgut Özakman ( he was a historian and passed away a few years ago ).

Şu Çılgın Türkler (These Crazy Turks) about Turkish War of Independence (published in 2005)
Diriliş Çanakkale 1915 (Resuscitation, Çanakkale 1915) about the Gallipoli Campaign (published in 2008)
Cumhuriyet Türk Mucizesi (Republic a Turkish Miracle) about the foundadion of Republican Turkey (published in 2009)

This is one of the reasons why I am such a huge fan. Do not lose your curiosity. It is so easy for someone in your position who has nothing to do with Ataturk probably never heard of him before coming here to say well why would I care and never wonder. That's what sets you apart.
